When are you getting called up to play on the O-line? Might as well, at this point

Trying to convince the electorate to never miss an election.

26.12.2024 23:51 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0@realalexbarth.bsky.social random question: should the Pats try and trade for Kyle Pitts this off-season? It seems like he needs a change of scenery and the Pats could use the offensive help.
23.12.2024 13:26 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Fun fact about AR: it has a higher overall tax burden (8.79%) than MA (8.55%) and yet MA is ranked #1 in education, healthcare, and business environment, plus has 6 more years in life expectancy than AR.
AR: higher taxes for less services. Conservative government in action!
Will that matter? In all honesty, I just feel that hardline true believers will find an appropriate scapegoat.
13.12.2024 22:25 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Great point about it being a continued kleptocracy.
If he is removed by oligarchs and they pull out of Ukraine, I could see an uprising from those who lost family members to a pointless and from hardliners.
Lastly, to me, there seems to be no clear succession plan, post-Putin
I haven't heard about that about Transnistria. That one of their last footholds in Europe. It could be a big loss. It definitely shows a pattern.
In your opinion: what does life post-Putin look like?
In what ways is it already happening? I ask, as honestly and curiously as possible.
I like to believe the old saying "very slowly, then all at once." I'm hoping the latter part of that saying will happen to Russia/Putin soon.
Honest question: will Russia reach a breaking point?
I feel like I've heard about the Russian demographic and economic damages since the start of the war, but they keep grinding.
IMHO, the breaking point won't be until Putin dies. I would hope it would be sooner.
Personally, I feel that Trump will make the most basic tweaks, rebrand it as 'Trumpcare', and take a four year victory lap.
09.12.2024 15:32 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I know people worry about power vacuums, but any scenario of Russia losing global influence is a net positive for the world.

Also, is your name pronounced Tay-gan or Tee-gan?
Out of curiosity, where do you see the most engagement?

"we will turn over every rock for proper vetting..."
I wonder their thoughts of the Congressional Gaetz report? What about Hegseth vetting?
Reality check: six isn't enough.
Yes, it would stop him from getting the job, but it means 47 Republicans are okay w/ a sexual abuser, white supremacist, MSM talking head, being point for the US military.
Also, Hegseth published an article saying it's not rape to have sex with unconscious women.
Ditto

Number 2 is gonna be difficult. Your campaign promises and MAGA policies are contradictory:
-Bring back jobs! ... even though unemployment is at record lows.
-Cut inflation! ... inflation is already at 2%, anything lower is awful for the economy (we DON'T want deflation) ๐งต
Number 1 is a complete no-no. You campaigned on the platform that Biden was a complete failure, continuing his policies admits you are wrong. You can't admit fault or else the MAGA movement collapses. ๐งต

I feel the DEM party needs to bring back the 50 state strategy
It's easier to win state legislative races over at-large FED races (Senate/President) & state legislative offices affect you more than the federal gvt
Thanks!

They run them bc people react to them the most.
If we stop linking to bad columns and instead post thinkers we find valuable (& generate convo around it), incentives change.
Itโs not easy and takes constant practice!
Honestly, I don't know. Anything would be pure speculation on my part. All I know for sure is MS pays more in taxes while MA has a higher QOL.
Your thoughts?
All biases aside: where do you see Bluesky and Twitter in a year?
