This was a day when I had a bad long covid flare-up. Ishtar has firmly wedged herself between the computer and my face, and she's loafed up very compactly on my chest. Her ears are up and alert and she's looking directly at me, monitoring the unruly patient that keeps insisting on doing things instead of resting.

See our cat does that, when either of us is feeling crap she'll flop on our lap and do the thing cats do where they aggressively increase their density and somehow become much heavier... Maybe your dogs didn't get the memo that they're not lap dog sized?
