Ah, ok I just have bad timing then. When I looked at it yesterday/today there just was no information about open applications (see Scholar Awards link here: fulbrightscholars.org/us-scholar-a...), and then this status page seemed a bit dire: fulbright.org/status

Can anyone explain the status of the Fulbright Scholars Program to me? I am just now looking into it as a possibility for a future sabbatical, and it seems like... funding has been pulled and it is likely no longer a possibility? If it were still an option, roughly when would applications open?

Look at this lil' guy!

"Ovicula, meaning β€œtiny sheep,” refers to the thick, white hairs that cover the plant’s leaves and honors a more iconic endangered species in Big Bend: the bighorn sheep (Ovis canadensis)." 😍

Fatalii Pepper The hottest pepper we offer, from the Central African Republic. Habanero-type peppers with delicious citrus flavor and few seeds. If you are sensitive to the heat, make sure to wear a mask over your mouth and nose and protect your eyes.Try adding this pepper to salsa recipes. It has a citrus, spicy flavor that is best enjoyed when the peppers are immature. You can also try making your own hot sauce with these peppers. SautΓ© them with olive oil, garlic, onion and salt, and after about 4 minutes add 2 cups of water. Heat the mixture for 20 minutes and then allow it to cool to room temperature before pureeing it in a food processor and adding vinegar.

SARS_CoV_2 maybe the most important biological invasion of our lifetime

But infectious human diseases are rarely treated as Biological Invasions

Collaborations between medical researchers & ecologists are vital to preventing future outbreaks

Because in grants you can imagine a world where it all works out... Unlike in papers, where you have to explain your low sample size through cow-based destruction.
