Ah, ok I just have bad timing then. When I looked at it yesterday/today there just was no information about open applications (see Scholar Awards link here: fulbrightscholars.org/us-scholar-a...), and then this status page seemed a bit dire: fulbright.org/status

Can anyone explain the status of the Fulbright Scholars Program to me? I am just now looking into it as a possibility for a future sabbatical, and it seems like... funding has been pulled and it is likely no longer a possibility? If it were still an option, roughly when would applications open?
