just logging on to say that i may be getting ready to finally release some sonic rigs soon

Was reminded of the idea of transfem Sonic being a thing so I doodled this to enforce the idea that transfem Sonic is a thing

only took me over a decade of modding to decide to do this

so the original Sonic Generations doesn't unlock achievements retroactively, so when i they bugged out when i first played it over a decade ago, they just became stuck as locked.

today i finally completed a new save file from scratch and have finally obtained all achievements.

Fun Fact:
I named the source asset file name for the achievement icon in Unleashed Recomp "ICUP.blend"

Really love @ladylunanova.bsky.social design of transfem Sonic, so I decided to take a crack at it :3

so you're just gonna ignore all my other arguments and get hung up on a subjective interpretation of a story?
right, yea, real clever buddy

you might wanna look inward if you think any trans person expressing themselves too openly is just fetishization, it's called projection.

but even if there wasn't, i uphold the opinion that expressing ourselves through the characters we connect with is not a thing that should be shamed, it's only natural to wanna see more of ourselves in the characters we love.

to combat the "apropos of nothing", there is subtext in Sonic Unleashed that can very much be interpreted as a trans allegory.

1: i don't tell people how to express themselves or police what terms people want to identify as, i'm not the type of person you're assuming.
2: i don't talk about my dysphoria because wallowing in my own misery about how much dysphoria sucks isn't conducive to change or anything constructive?

you know that policing how we express ourselves only plays into our oppressor's hands right?

so an innocent "what if this character i love was more like me?" AU project for fun is fetishization? ok buddy.
