The US Military+ ICE are not the same thing. We can hold multiple ideas in our heads: having an army is a deterrent/needed, our history of foreign military interventions/ wars post WW2 is appalling+endless war crimes/ illegal, we spent too much $ on military stuff, service folks are not all evil.
