Okay, fine, I should’ve seen this in a theater. Arguably best film of the year.

That said, some people whined it should have been a straight period drama and didn’t need the vampires. Let’s not go crazy. It absolutely needed the vampires.

I didn’t hate it? Like the first one, it’s nothing especially great. But Allison Williams commits to the bit and I respect the swings it takes in order to avoid being the rote, predictable horror sequel that people apparently wanted.
