Never got to the part in Stardew Valley where you get multiple plots of land but that sounds so stressful, I just wanna sit in my one cozy farm and work on it, not manage time/profits like a business manager ;_;

I dunno how cozy game people can play a thing where you have to manage multiple farms/towns (like 5 places at the same time) and call that cozy, it's stressful af ;_;

That's fine as a preference thing but games like Animal Crossing are built on that! Dragon Quest Builders (the closest thing this game is based on) wasn't designed for the irl time thing and it's way way better for it

I was enjoying the game until I got to that part where you fix the Pokemon Center and the game was like "The building will be finished tomorrow" and I'm here like

Last RT: WHY DO THEY HAVE A WHOLE PROCESSING THING TOO LIKE, this isn't a survival game, why are you making us wait on Pokemon to do stuff for us ;3;

It's really like they were mandated to grab different "popular" mechanics from different games regardless of if they mix or not!

"gee I wish I could get lumber but the only Pokemon that has chop is currently working I a house!"
Or "oops started this project at 6:00 am, gotta wait till the next morning!"

I really like how each Pokemon you meet has a different personality and animations, that's my favorite part of the game so far

DQ Builders didn't have the time stuff and it was much better for it

Anyway I'm glad people are enjoying it, though it's wild how somehow the game is selling way more than any other Pokemon game, main series included 💀

Having to wait a whole ass day just to build a house makes sense in Animal Crossing cause the place is small and you don't have that much to do, way more casual game, but in Pokepia there's no reason at all to add the time element, it's like they were mandated to copy Animal Crossing, hate it

The Builders stuff being having a story line, multiple areas and the whole blocks thing which I really enjoyed in those games, but for some reason they have the game matching your irl time which really adds nothing, that and needing to watch irl time to get stuff built???? Whyyyyyyy

I really wanna enjoy Pokepia but I'm struggling with it, which is partly my fault cause I don't enjoy "cozy" games where you make your own space and all

But also like, the game is basically Dragon Quest Builders (good) but they also mixed in a bunch of Animal Crossing stuff (very bad)
