Last night I had the pleasure of attending a campaign event for Jami Floyd, who recently announced her bid to replace a retiring Jerry Nadler in New York’s 12th Congressional District. I encourage you to learn more about her candidacy at www.jamifloydforcongress.com/news.

Well done to @RepJeffries on his relentless focus on healthcare and advancing his discharge petition.
Two great lessons:
1) NY gets it done.
2) More pragmatists, more problems get solved.
NY12 is looking for bold leadership. Today, Leader Jeffries delivered.
When I’m in Congress, I will too.
I also learned this listening to NPR this morning… fascinating.

This is why I’m a Democrat. The first politician I ever worked for and the moral North Star of our party.
Sherrod doesn’t Just believe in Ohio’s workers - he goes out and fights for them. Let’s get him back in the Senate so he can take the fight to Washington.

Chelsea treating a player this way is how they became the most hated team in the Prem.
They don’t have room in their dressing room because they have too many players, have more money than god, and still screw with a player this way.
Just sad.
Heck of a loan fee for a backup - but Bayern were forced into a desperate situation by injuries and (in my opinion) an overly-stingy board.
Hope it works for Jackson, though! One of those signings that actually brings flexibility and a different tactical option up front.

Social media was better when there was an unofficial 1 to 3 rule…
Gather round children and hear the stories of original 2011 Twitter - where you were ashamed to have any less than 3 original posts for every RT.
Me waking up every morning to check if #BayernMunich has done anything in the transfer market to solve our LW problem… or our CAM problem… or our LB problem… or our backup striker problem…

The GOP is out here throwing tired, racist stereotypes at @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social
Their tactics rely on people never actually seeing or hearing this guy. So call out the racism while ALSO sharing his voice.
His joy is infectious and he’s completely authentic - show people.
Journalists if you don’t include this verbatim when reporting on what just happened in Minnesota, quit your fucking jobs.

Everyone on this app has had advice for @democrats.org as to how they should communicate better.
Well - they listened and are trying new things.
Now the folks here need to support those efforts. Start by watching their new daily YouTube show The Daily Blueprint:

This feels like the narrative around a player :)
ESPN going into the final year of the USA rights contract with the DFL. Right now, no one can say what will happen.
Clearly as a team member, I hope our team keeps the rights & think we offer something fairly unique with our people & coverage style.
Stiller, Wirtz, Frimpong, Ekitike… all look likely to leave Germany. Feels like a big blow to the collective talent and competitiveness of the #Bundesliga
@raecomm.bsky.social how does Germany beat farmers league allegations when all this talent is constantly leaving…
Genuinely hope they do!! A competitive Bundesliga is good for everyone. If Bayern dog walks the league for another 10 years, not player will choose them cause the narrative will be “just joining for a trophy.” Can only have glory if you play against and beat the best.

As a Bayern fan, I really think Bayern dodged a bullet. Wirtz is great but fitting him, Musiala, Olise, and Kane into a front four wouldn’t work.
Much prefer a world class LW, backup for Kane, and defensive depth.
Final thought on this: it does suck for German talent to leave the Bundesliga. It hurts that Wirtz considers one Bundesliga title enough to move to England.
Bundesliga is still the best league in the world and I wouldn’t trade the fan culture and community mentality for 100 players like Wirtz.
I refuse to accept that Wirtz is good enough to be worth weakening every other position to bring him in and pushing our stars out of their earned spots.
I want a whole squad built around Musiala. HE is our star boy, HE isn’t after some the PL PR, and HE will be our future. Gi
The rumor is Kompany was considering a 4-1-4-1 system to fit Wirtz and Musiala in together with Kimmich as the line pivot.
Anybody who watched Bayern’s midfield get cut apart this season and the Defence collapse in response knows this would be a disaster.
Wirtz is a game changing player… but Bayern isn’t hurting in that department
Take the money you would have dropped on Wirtz and get a world class LW, a real RB (no hate on Laimer) and a backup striker for Kane.
THAT is a whole squad that’ll compete for European glory again.
Where would he play? CAM? Pushing Musiala to the left, where he doesn’t like to be and where we then have two wingers (him and Olise) that want to cut in and dribble and no crossers or touchline sprinters? People forget Davies isn’t coming back till a couple months into the season from an ACL TEAR.

Tried having this discourse on Twitter but everything is rage bait and engagement farming… but Wirtz choosing Liverpool is the best thing to happen to Bayern.
A €150 million investment into a player that would have broken Bayern’s system and put into structural decline.
