The vaccines have this apparent life-extending effect not because they protect against COVID-19 but because they rev up the immune system.
In a cohort of over 13,500 women with mean age ~72 years, >4,000 steps per day, at least 1-2 days per week, was associated with reduction in all-cause mortality and lower risk of cardiovascular disease
