Shetland folklore tells us thst each spring,Sea Mither battles Tehran, the bringer of storms, forcing him to the depth of the ocean. As autumn approaches Sea Mither grows tired and Tehran fights again for control of the sea. Today was filled with evidence of these battles.

The boxes come from California so we looked for spiders from that area and it is likely a grass spider. So we got some extra biology with our science kit.
Although I have reminded Rohan if he ever finds unidentified arachnids in a box to tell someone not release them!

Just to say Rohan said he woke up and did crunch lab kit. He also said he found a spider like he had never seen before in the box so carefully put it in a bag and released it under the sofa ...

Think this might be the best co-parenting message i have sent so far 😂
