Very important project. This is just a design open house, not a hearing, but this project is one we will absolutely need to show up for in support.

I chose the Hollywood Walk of Fame! Only my second time there, the first being when I first visited SoCal in 2021. Still too much space surrendered to cars, but much less shitty than I remember back then!

And Phase 1 of the Extension will especially be impactful for me. There's a lot of places there I want to go to more often than I do, because it's hard to get to. My life will change on May 8, when I'm able to ride the D to get to those valuable destinations.

I'm so excited for the D to get longer. As a Downtowner who does not own a car, the @metrolosangeles.bsky.social D Line Extension will genuinely change my life. I can't wait to ride the D.

It’s hard to overstate the degree to which human progress in the 20th century was the answer to 100,000 years of our species’ prayers. Democracy delivered by progressive values. Prosperity for normal people ineffable to 10,000 years of kings - all delivered by progressive governance.

Not the point but this first claim is objectively untrue. The world is generally speaking the safest it’s ever been. Extreme poverty, deaths by violence/disease/war, and so much more are at historic lows. Progressives conjured miracles in the 20th c. The problem is the troglodytes unraveling this.
