Here is the reality of Donald Trump and Elon Musk's layoffs: immediate reductions to national park visitor services. We cannot serve people without people. Nobody wants an AI robot giving a cave tour.

We as a country will save nothing. Federal employee salaries make up just 4% of the budget—roughly $271 billion. So even if every federal worker were fired, that’s the maximum you’d save. Meanwhile, the U.S. House GOP has released a budget that raises the debt limit by $4 trillion.

This administration has convinced half the country that the real problem isn’t the billionaires who evade taxes and collect government handouts, but the working class who pay taxes and get nothing in return.

Elon Musk’s staffers have gained unauthorized access to sensitive government employee data by installing a server at the OPM. They now have access to USAJOBS, the federal hiring portal where applicants submit personal details such as Social Security numbers, home addresses, and employment histories.
