It's been a rough year.

I still don't have a job. My former industry was just completely wiped out.

But! I'm happy to tell you I'm pivoting. I'm currently taking pre-requisites and will be starting training to become an occupational therapist this summer.

Change is hard but sometimes the wind shifts, and you go with it.

It was a really awful year. Things are starting to look up. I just got back from a trip to Panama and Costa Rica.

1) I got laid off due to DOGE cuts to my company's health policy research into the patients with the highest needs on Medicare. Wasteful, I guess.
2) I had to put my beloved Callie to sleep later in the summer.
3) I had a depressive episode. (see above)

I believe that some posts on social media contain inaccurate information.
