All I can do is listen to audiobooks with unfocused eyes, and occasionally try to offer someone a kind word. Hopefully I can climb my way back up, soon. It's boring down here in the deep fatigue oceans.

It feels a bit like 2020, but concentrated. Populated. Havoc and strife, but with more people this time. Did you know that having emotions takes a certain amount of spare energy? It's been a while since I've been here. There's no rest in my sleeps. There's so many "shoulds" that I just can't.

Grief is a strange, squidgy sort of thing. It's been more than two weeks now and it still hasn't sunk in? It still both makes sense and doesn't make sense. My time has been occupied with other, smaller, closer griefs, like chronic illness and moral lines and *waves vaguely* everything.

Oh gods, the sensory memory of the sound of those bead hairbands thwacking into my scalp as a little kid. 😅 Those things were eeeevil.

Gods I'm tired. There are reasons for panic, and reasons for anger, and I'm just toast. I can't join the panic, I can't join the rage, all I have right now is pattern recognition and deep sadness, sorry, out of HP and MP with an empty inventory.

I have things I need to do, errands I need to run. I do not have the energy to do so. I've done enough fatigue flares by now that I know this is just How It Goes and I'm at the whiny stage so I probably have another two weeks of stay down.

hey so this is blatant false information punishing people for doing the right thing. no, it was not a "grabber". it was a reputable survey site that discord has used previously for limited surveys.

It really does wear a being down, even before fatigue and pain get tallied up.

I need this so desperately. I've used a walking stick since about the start of Covid thanks to hypermobility, even on good days. This world is not build for nonstandard bodies, I so desperately need protags who aren't inspiration porn but just doing what needs doing. 💖

Exhaustion does odd things to a mind. I simultaneously want to beg for help, and also have no idea how someone COULD help considering the factors in play that make the necessary tasks my job to get done. I can do this, I will do this. I'm just so tired.

That was one of my disappointments in the Suicide Squad movies. Amanda Waller is supposed to be capable, confident, and large. She was one of my favorites for being highly effective but not necessarily always good. The movie actress got the vibe right, but it still felt like The Wall got cheated.
