The graph shows the number of women in the Connecticut legislature throughout the years. In 1975 it was 25, for a total percentage of 13.4%, 1995 it doubled to 50, which was 26.7%, 2009 it jumped to 60, women made up 32.1% of the legislature, in 2023 it jumped to 70, 37.4% and today it's lower to 65 women in the legislature, making up 34.8%
Connecticut is 22nd in the country for the percentage of women elected to their state legislature.

4. California (48.3%)
