Held at Burg Liebenzell, this was the hands-on part of our “Theories & Practices of Mediation” seminar.

Unconventional, intense, and an amazing way to learn what mediation actually feels like.

On Wednesday, February 15, 2025, we had the pleasure of welcoming Dagmar Vorlíček as a guest in our Discourses of Security lecture.

She shared insightful perspectives on a topic that's often overlooked in security discussions: Infrastructures and Global Security 🌍

Dr. Juliana Tappe Ortiz is the new postdoctoral researcher at the Chair of Peace and Conflict Studies at the University of Tübingen. She is currently working on gender relations in conflicts, with a particular focus on the mobilization of women in religious groups in Colombia and Mexico.

The talk explored how gender, personal experiences of violence, and attitudes toward gender equity influence these perceptions, offering valuable insight into the risks faced by women activists.

As part of the Institutskolloquium series at the Institute of Political Science (IfP), Dr. Dr. Juliana Tappe Ortiz presented her lecture "Women under threat: perceptions of women's activism in Colombia" on May 7th.
