This is perhaps the most transparently ridiculous part of "amazing abundance" -- the robots will magically do all your work but you'll still get paid for some reason. Oh, and the robots aren't free.

Don't worry, when work is optional, Elon will definitely keep paying all his human employees. Work is already "optional," if you don't mind not having food, shelter, or healthcare.
