The thing to understand about Trump is like in his first term, he doesnโt want to govern. He doesnโt want to learn. He wants to campaign and look good.
Republicans know this. So there are battles going on right now to take control of the actual process of governing.
Everyone was warned about this, and itโs happening just as we feared.

But now, more than a decade later, with what we now know, itโs time to take the insurance companies out of the mix.
The subsidies they get are enormous. We donโt need them as middlemen.
Oh man
15.01.2025 18:05 โ ๐ 14133 ๐ 1963 ๐ฌ 1889 ๐ 514A tweet by Karen Piper (@PiperK) reads: "There it is. Trump would have been convicted of 'conspiracy to defraud the United States' and 'conspiracy to deprive citizens of voting rights' if he had not been elected to be president. The U.S. is in totally uncharted territory." Below the tweet is an excerpt from a document that discusses the Department's view that the Constitution prohibits the indictment and prosecution of a sitting President, regardless of the gravity of the crimes charged, and indicates that sufficient evidence existed to obtain a conviction at trial.
U.S. voters elected a felon and prevented further prosecutions of himย forย his many crimes. Heaven help us all.

The normal procedure is that that person convicted becomes required to serve any sentencing in full, and if that hampers the ability to conduct duties of office, then they be removed and the normal vacancy procedures completed by Congress.
This is a joke.
The supreme Court, department of justice and all that enable this farce will be frowned upon in history. No president should be protected from their crimes by virtue of holding or being elected to an office.
