The first video I posted is a Katara Pure commercial, it was released in 1995 and features Madonna taking on a mythical dragon as a Samurai warrior. Here are some concept art designs that featured in her fan club magazine at the time.

#Madonna (マドンナ) is in Japan, hopefully recording new music at the Warner studio there, and it's left me obsessing about every time she's culturally referenced Japan. Times change, but I don't think it's bad appropriation, since she is extremely popular there, and did so for Japanese audiences.

Here is what I've made to put in my Christmas candy bags this year. Almond (amaretto) rock candy, candied oranges flavored with orange blossom water to smell like flowers, praline cinnamon cashews, and a Terry's chocolate orange I grew in my very own garden.
