Trump bans trans athletes in women's sports President Donald Trump signed an executive order Wednesday that bans transgender athletes who were assigned male at birth from participating in women's or girls' sports.

This has nothing to do with protecting cis women athletes. It is fearmongering and justifying discrimination. If they were protecting athletes, they would be addressing a long history of predatory coaches and gender disparities in pay and media coverage.
