Putting the "B" in LGBTQIA+, Happy Bi Month!

Bisexual Visibility Month is celebrated every September to raise awareness for the bisexual community, combat biphobia and erasure, and highlight their experiences and challenges.

International Non-Binary People’s Day is held on 14 July each year, half-way between International Women’s Day and International Men’s Day. It was proposed in 2012 by Katje van Loon, a non-binary person from Canada and we celebrate the Non Binary community on this day and every day 🙌🏼

Wiltshire born Mary will be singing Disney Hits on the main stage and all your fun pop classics on our community stage!

In the lead up to our main event, we will be holding events every day and on Monday we have Crafting with Pride!

Join us for a fun-filled day of badge making, sign making, screen printing, and colouring. There will be mini prizes for the best adult and children's creations.

It's Omnisexual Visibility Day today, this sexuality is part of the group of Multisexuality and is often under the Bi Umbrella, so it's hard to find information around it but some people feel it is more fitting as a label than other labels. Read more about the differences.

Today is Autistic Pride Day

Autistic Pride Day is celebrated every year on June 18 — but its impact reaches far beyond one day. It’s a global movement led by Autistic people, celebrating our identity, strengths and community. This day is about visibility, not permission. Pride, not pity.

Yesterday our Pride Hub hosted a Placard session for our Trans Protest THIS Sunday at Regent Circus. We hope to see many more!

We have FOUR events happening between Friday & Sunday! From our Pride Movie Night, attending Oxford Pride with all our NEW pride goodies (so much choice) then our Sunday is even more busy with the Old Town Festival Street Party and our Placard making session at The Pride Hub! Will we see you there?!

Our protest now has a location!! Meeting at Regent Circus where our hub is also at.

We also have our placard making session THIS Sunday as well at the hub so we can really show up!! 🏳️‍⚧️

Although Pride is 365, we love spending Pride Month celebrating and conversing with our community and Allies! Once again a massive thank you to @Swindon Dance for flying our flag, including ALL 🙌🏼

Last week we spent two sessions at Hungerford community youth club. This is part of Swindon & Wiltshire Pride community engagement to spread awareness, educate on the different pride flags and identities - and provide support guides as well as free badges and stickers!!

As we move closer to our Trans Solidarity Protest event, we are holding a placard making session at our Pride Hub, in Regent Circus, Swindon on Sunday the 8th June from 12-3pm. We will have lots of different items to paint and create, some come with your ideas and let's get creating!

We love being able to attend other Prides! Today we were at Witney Pride, and it two weeks time we will be at Oxford Pride! All of the items we sell on our stall go BACK to our charity to help keep pride FREE 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️✨

As a charity, we are more than just one event! We regularly are at other events in the community and beyond, to bring awareness or simply to fundraise so we can make our main event free and accessible to all!
