"Hmm... I guess monster would be appropriate." he'd shrug. "And other Luxray can harness electricity... But I doubt they can use it as efficiently as I can."

His eyes warily watched as she stepped closer, especially as she spoke. "Interesting... I think you're the first demon I've met, then."

"Never met a 'mon before?" the lion asked, tilting his head curiously. He hadn't seen someone wear a mask and attire quite like this woman, so it seemed they were both interested in each other.

"I'm a Luxray. No demon or human, but anthropomorphic enough to be similar to the latter. And you?"

"Hmm... Doesn't have to be."

"You said you were trying to catch me as prey, and wanted to do the same to others. I'm not gonna hurt you... but I can't just let you go and hurt others.

"...C'mon. Surely you don't have to poison and eat people to live, right?"

"Hey, just calm down a little... I'm not trying to hurt you."

His grip on her wrists lessened, the determined look in his eyes softening. She may have tried to turn him into lunch a moment ago, but he wasn't a monster.

"I'm just trying to make sure you don't hurt anyone is all. +

"Where's all that bravado?" he asked, struggling a little to keep her under control, still wary of those fangs. "Can't eat what you can't catch, right?"

He wasn't trying to actually hurt her, more trying to keep her under control. He'd let up just a touch, enough so she wouldn't be hurt further, but his hands still wrapped around a couple of her arms to keep her on the ground. The punches stung, but violence wasn't new to him. +

That grin of his only grew wider at her anger, clearly pleased that he could hinder her nefarious actions. Then, as she turned and started to run towards her next meal, Fang immediately sprang into action.

"Oh no you don't!"

The spry lion lunged her way, attempting to subdue her from behind.

"Then I think I'll stick around for a while." he replied, a wry grin making its way to his lips. "Perhaps I'll be a little thorn in your side while you try to prey on others, make you slip up and fail to find any food to eat. Well... any sentient food, at least.

"Yeah... I think I'll follow you."

"...No, I don't think I will."

Fang folded his arms, watching the woman closely. "Why, want me to leave so another poor sap can get devoured?"

The lion growled slightly, his legs bent a little in anticipation if she tried to snap at him again.

"Is this how you greet everyone you meet?"

Considering she just tried to bite down on his neck, the lion wouldn't put it past her to be a kind of trickster. He scowled at her, his lips curling up to reveal his own sharp fangs.

"So that's what you meant by your hunt. A hungry little arachnid looking for a meal...

"I'm not so easily caught."

She would've gotten a bite on him if not for his reflexes and experience, the lion darting away just as those fangs brushed against his shirt.

"What the hell are you doing?!"

His head slowly turns, until he catches a glimpse of the spider in his peripheral view.

"Uh... hello?"
