I always start to think about this when I've been in a job for a while. It's hard to know what makes the best sense for me, as a single woman with an income that fluctuates wildly from year to year.

Like, if you, a Christian, have an issue with how someone else is Christianing, you need to take it up with them, not argue about it with strangers on the internet. You can tell the internet at length how you disagree with their Christianing, but ultimately, it won't change their opinion or mine.

When I was a kid in FL, the wind used to howl through the slim gap between our door and the jamb when microbursts would kick up. I can still hear that sound in my head and it give me chills. I was lucky to never experience worse than a cat 2 at home. This is terrifying.

Sorted this spreadsheet with over 800 rows by a different column and when I resorted A-Z by my numbers column it did it all by 10s so now I get to reassemble it by hand. Super great tech, google. Nice work. At least I have a numbers column to guide me, I guess.

Whenever people complain about the number of folks relying on food stamps, it is worth reminding them that SNAP is, by too large of a degree, a subsidy for corporations that refuse to pay a living wage and their political allies who reject public policy prescriptions to reduce income inequality.

Ooh, thanks for sharing! I can’t wait to watch. I once wrapped mine in a towel and gently rolled over them with the car, but I was a kid and not a professional and my parents were horrified by how I was treating the shoes they’d just spent so much money on.

Last year my ACA premiums were over $1k a month for a PPO. Because I was unemployed, I got credits that got that down to about $400/month, which was still a lot, but more manageable. I can only imagine what they will be next year.
