Update: Looks like calling Input.GetAxis() for "Joy1 Axis 4" and "Joy1 Axis 5" work for the left and right triggers! (PC only)

Value is -1 for untouched, 0 for half-pressed, and 1 for fully-pressed. Does not work in Editor/ClientSim, only in the #VRChat client.

(No equivalent found for iOS yet)

Has anyone had success with discerning Left vs Right trigger pulls in #VRChat on a gamepad?
I've tried both PS4 and XboxOne controllers on PC (desktop) and iOS, and using HandType from InputUse and InputGrab only provides Right Hand. Unity's input functions for it don't seem to work, either.

I worked on a manual reloading mechanic back when the Oculus Touch controllers first released, and enjoyed it - but it had a lot of allowances for imprecise movement, a bit of smoke and mirrors to make the motion feel cool. And no pouches

It’s just my opinion of what I prefer. If I’m playing H3VR, I *do* want the precise movements and such, and I can see it working for milsim multiplayer games as well. For singleplayer, faster-paced games, it’s not my preference.

It was a one-time error, something freaked out (and it’s a method parameter, not a variable apparently). I get even scarier errors just from the VRChat SDK honestly

My friend -WildCat- released a VRChat hangout world that is designed to run well even on lower-end hardware. It also looks really nice.
I recommend checking it out, especially if you're on Quest.
