It's a monkey at a Japanese zoo that went viral because he's being handraised with a surrogate plushie mom while also being integrated into a normal habitat. You can probably find clips of him on the trending feeds for other social media sites.

Little dude is sitting on rocks and chewing some leaves and the caption'll read "FORSOOTH! Yonder ape hath been so fraught with peril that he seeks escape from the other Ourang-Outangs! Taking his meager meal into seculsion, he contemplates the hour when he will be accepted!!!"

I get it's easy to anthropomorphize animals, especially monkeys, but godamn some of these people are writing whatever the fuck they feel like in the captions of those Punch clips

Thought maybe my feelings would change, but not really. Liked half of what it tried, other half was very "oh fuck off," an exact repeat of how I felt about the show. Guess I fall in with the people who don't like Eva. Oh well, still gave it a fair shake.

41.) Deadzone Rogue

Technically finished it last year but I both forgot to add it back then and they recently updated it with another final boss, so...

It's fine, servicable. Co-op is fun for a few days and the guns feel punchy, but other than that there's nothing much to write home about.

Granted I've only seen barely half of the Terminator franchise but if it can be put down with laser blasts, lava or a trash compactor then it probably can be put down with the more unconventional weapons of the rest of the roster

T-800 is too stiff and would get mulched easily. Termie and Elemental are about equal since it's the good ol' STR vs. DEX argument, and the Glitterboy would be able to punch through both but again it's a matter of if the Elemental is able to get hit and the Termie can't tank forever

For the leftmost one? Nah, those're LRMs

The og Marathons are surprisingly well-written for FPS games, let alone ones that came out in the mid 90s. Rather normal "alien invasion" plot but the rampancy aspect has real nice depth to it. Durandal steals the show, and you can see the DNA for Halo in the gameplay and the Phfor.

It's a special kind of disgust when a game or movie references a book you've read and you can tell that they only have a "read the wikipedia page" level of understanding of it

Obviously it's too late now after Prometheus and Alien: Earth but I always wondered which'd be scarier: if there were tons of alien species out there in the Alien universe but they were all hostile to humanity, or if there was nothing but xenomorphs and the bones of dead civilizations
