This is so spot on! For the remaining Bulls fans whose brains haven’t turned to mush watching AK built teams for 5 years, it feels hopeless. Can’t trade off guys, can’t combine guys for a star. Certainly won’t add picks or value the draft. The issue is that AK is deeply stupid and should be fired.

The irony is, Trump sees this is short term pain to rid the world of globalism. I see this as short term pain to get rid of MAGA. There is just no way that Republicans won’t pay a severe political price for this. It’s stupid, and it will hurt everyone. But the MAGA dummies needed to catch the car.

Good! I’d rather lose the 2027 baseball season than have another offseason like this last one. All big name FA’s can’t go to three teams if you want the regular season to stay remotely interesting.

Much like you, my plan is a large hedge bet. Bulls do the STUPIDEST thing and get the 8 seed, then I’ll make four figures. With AK it’s safe to always bet on the dumbest possible outcome.

I get your point. The problem, as everything with AK, has been committing to a direction. Those teams you mention have dumped players for picks, and are trying to lose. The Bulls are passively trying to fix things, exchanging one group of mediocre players for slightly younger mediocre players.

The play-in alone is a mistake, and blah. But the catastrophe would be winning two play-in games, getting swept by Cleveland, and stuck with the 15th pick (which AK would certainly screw up). The Bulls have the most hopeless future in the NBA.
