The US campaign to starve Cuba of fuel should be understood as genocidal. They are targeting a whole nation, deliberately destroying conditions necessary for life, in flagrant violation of international law. Pure barbarism, there is no other way to describe it.

Maybe one day, Americans will finally have the discussion about how everything ICE is doing to them on the streets, is exactly what that "nice" family member of theirs who went to Iraq and Afghanistan, did to countless people over there. You cannot be separate from empire if you identify with it.
