Then, in the final scene, Green sneaks up on Blue and licks the back of Blue's neck. Blue is wide-eyed and startled by this. Green: Narrating: I want to bug and annoy you forever because I love you.

Blue does not react to this in any particular way. Green: Yaaaaaaaawn. The two continue sitting in silence. More irritated and persistent, Green yawns again, still bleary but now determined. Blue turns to look at him. Green: I said: yaaaaaawn. Blue: Should we go to bed?

My mistake: the book was first published in 2018, and she got Amazon series deals in 2020!

Yes, it looks like after her fic was published as novels, it got its own fandom. The lead actress herself said MH was originally made for this German fandom. She didn't expect it to be this huge internationally. You're welcome 😊

Dunno abt other Prime series, but from what I gathered, Mona Kasten posted a German dramione fic in wattpad around 2005/2006 before Ao3 existed. She got it published as a book (3 books) in 2008 and was a huge hit in Germany. Then, she secured a series deal w/ Amazon in 2010. They filmed MH in 2022.

Green looks over his shoulder, back towards the direction they were coming from. Blue: No, it's okay, mom. I'll call you back in a minute. Green: I think they're gaining on us.
