Some Bears fans might not like it, but best available was the approach at 10, and Colston Loveland was the best available.

I would have loved to see the Bears land Ashton Jeanty tonight, but Colston Loveland was my Plan B for Chicago if Jeanty was off the board in my final mock draft earlier this week. He's going to be a great fit in Ben Johnson's offense in Chicago.

In my Bears Bits today, I labeled the Grady Jarrett signing as one that I didn't hate (but wasn't crazy about), but credit where it's due: his introductory press conference was impressive.
I think he'll inject some life and leadership into the defensive line, at least.
The Chicago Bears did much of the heavy lifting in the trenches via trades and free agency, opening many possibilities for Ryan Poles and company during next month's NFL Draft.
