I style my RSS feed too... but if it's causing security issues then let's abandon ship. Feels like a legacy hack-job anyhow.

Maybe browsers default style RSS feeds (with a "Subscribe" button) and let us use <meta name="theme-color"> as an accent to a default stylesheet.

This post is a bit of a goof, but in all seriousness as we digitize our lives (and that timeframe escalated during the pandemic) all this shit requires long term maintenance and we probably need to acknowledge that as a society more often.
