As a resident of Washington County who benefits from the Red Line extension, I would have cut the Red Line back to Beaverton TC or even downtown before I removed the Green Line from downtown. But federal funds were just used for the extension and they probably contractually can't do that.

There is nothing permanent about this. Trump and his supplicants have fully revealed who they are and what they believe. Their vision of foreign policy is a mirror image of their brutalism at home. But they don't get to change reality, what you believe, or what you choose to do about it.

American business leaders are turning on Trump — fast Biden-era regulations are still standing, and new ideologically driven crackdowns and market-roiling policies are being piled on. The MAGA vibes are fading.
