I have been asked by an artist if she can use it for the basis of a painting - of course I said yes!

Very nearly! I am new to that series (having had no TV for most of my adult life) so have watched it fresh in the past few years, it’s corny but great fun!

you may have, towards the end, something flew over and squawked - the rattling caws in the beginning are the rooks I reckon, they are well chatty!!

oh no! If you had ever been bowled over by an Exmoor Horn, or had your leg raked by their horn you’d not think that 😏

I think it is, in part, that they do not communicate much, unlike a dog which would be vocal when something is wrong …

Wow! 😮 they are the most expensive sheep you can ever cuddle!! Did you know? My Exmoor Horns are not the cuddly type (well except for one or two 😏🤫❤️)

Ah, still 7 ewes to lamb, so perhaps, if all goes well … it might be a record …

These girls are pure bred Exmoor Horns, the ewe is fairly tame “Florin”

So far 21 lambs … and yes! Will do some vids when they get back in the sheds, they often have a bit of a play at dusk. Been catching up on sleep/rest after some long nights!

Ah thanks for the understanding - ha! Typical of me! I had been saying “steady” to folks who asked directly, but then a few hiccoughs occur and you guard your responses!! Had a wonderful lamb born yesterday, will get s pic today x

Some 10 years ago I bought hundreds of mixed daffodils and planted them everywhere, in the road verges, garden, high hedges, under newly planted trees, odd places - they are bunching up now and look wonderful! Worth the effort though it drove me nuts at the time!

2 After splinting (one day on the joint, the next day the whole leg) I removed the splint and wrap today and he seems to be standing well …

I always hesitate to say until it’s over, but the lambs are vigorous and strong, except for one little chap, the ewe is poor, and not eating her ration, and he is slim and weakly, and has been a bit knuckled over on one foreleg.
