I agree. SLS is still a HUGE roadblock to the US's space goals. Sucking up billions with outdated tech and ever shifting mission needs. The worst parts of the shuttle, distilled down and made even more dangerous.

Idk about that. Payloads aren't getting smaller, and other countries aren't slowing down. ULA and BO *could* do it, BO isn't far behind, but both of them are moving so slowly they're losing contacts they're already signed up for. NASA can do cool shit, but they're horrible at rockets.
