I think a lot goes back to people getting degrees but the degrees not really paying off very well. But White expectations goes beyond Sanders supporters. I remember oma Black woman on Twitter that I followed stated that people acted differently around her when they found out she was a MD.

I'm thankful for that because I haven't had to worry much about being employed.

A lot of people went to college, got degrees and expected for everything else to fall into place but those things simply didn't. I was fortunate enough to see the writing on the wall and shift gears. I got both a bachelor's and master's in history and shifted gears right after.

I think a lot of them went to college and expected to be making more money and when they didn't, it set something off.

Sometimes I think about how a lot of Sanders followers act and feel like many act that way because they felt entitled to wealth that they were never able to achieve. I think a lot of them felt that should have a house and be more successful than they actually are and lash out because of it.

I think there are plenty of atheists of all backgrounds. White ones just never shut up about it, and yeah, plenty of them replicate their environment.

Everyone apparently wants to lead, but very few are actually good at it. Nobody wants to do the mundane things of helping out even though those things are very important.

That last part nails it. Religion for a lot of White people isn't about that, but about power. I have been to several White churches in college and I definitely learned to not speak politics with a lot of those people.

Just tried the Pearl River Dark Soy. I liked it better than the Kikkoman but it has the same problem I had with that one in that the more I ate, the more salty it tasted and it began simply overpowering every thing else. First couple of bites were good though and it didn't taste gross or anything.

There is a gulf of difference between what goes on in Black churches and what goes on in White churches. Many White churches are just a continuation of how White people tried to preach that Black people should be happy to be slaves.

I went to college in Corpus and sadly there is a big chunk of that city that still votes Republican. Somehow, I don't even think this will teach them the lesson that they shouldn't.
