I’ve found myself doomscrolling social media more and more often lately, so I’m going to try and unplug from it for a bit. Holiday season is rough for me, the doomscrolling isn’t making it any better

I’d been talking to this person at work having coffee with them and chatting a bunch.

“Hey we’ve been having coffee a lot, we seem to have a lot of similar interests, would you like to go out to dinner sometime”

“Ew no”

They proceeded to insult me further after.

Since 2023 I’ve lost 120lbs in an attempt to improve my health and get my life back together. I don’t have photos from the time I was 330+ lbs or I’d look back and thank that guy for choosing to make a change in his life. It’s probably for the better that I don’t have them.

I posted photos of my weight loss progress for the first time on Twitter, so I thought I’d try sharing them here as well. I’m very self conscious, not really done something like this before. Photos are from May of 2024 to May of 2025. I want to say it’s from 280-290 -> 230ish

Truly I can see nothing good coming out of the events that have happened today. I fear more and more extreme rhetoric will be pushed with this event used as its justification.

Likely some dark times ahead.

I’m watching members of my family become extremely radicalized by the events that have happened today, and not in a good way.

Never expected to hear family members calling for the death of others.

My family has a lot of republicans in it. These are who I’m witnessing radicalize

I’m not very vocal about things, I don’t really have much reach, and honestly, I don’t think most people care or necessarily want to hear what I have to say.

But when I have limits when it comes to reading and scrolling social media and seeing things that disappoint me.

Never thought I’d see the day where I open and scroll social media and see people unironically agreeing with Hitler, or saying “maybe Hitler was right” and trying to paint that guy out to be anything but the absolutely evil person he was and those views being mainstream. We truly have fallen.

Yes! News that I can actually take a vacation this year

Thought I’d post this here for my Bluesky friends as well. Decided it was time to clean up a bit, was starting to look a bit rough. Thought it looked nice.

Gonna throw it on here because I rarely use this app, and others don’t seem to check it very often.

I’ve been struggling with my mental health. This is easily within the top 10 worst mental states I have been in during my adulthood.

It’s the whole 9 yards. Thoughts and all.

The government shouldn’t have a say in the bodily autonomy of ANYONE. If someone wants to do something to their body, that choice should be in the hands of the individual and the individual alone.

I don’t enjoy talking about politics but I’m going to make this abundantly clear. I don’t think any government entity, whether federal, state, city, etc should have a say in the bodily autonomy of women. That choice belongs to women, your fucking insane if you think otherwise.
