Wow. What a thing to come home to after my half-day volunteering with hospice. This guy's desire to eliminate the hassle of grieving, is such a tell on his own immaturity and selfishness.

Grief isn’t abnormal, it’s one of the most basic shared aspects of humanity. To try to “cure” for it removes all that binds us, offers cheap substitution & renders relationships & death insignificant -
a dangerous path that leads to dulled empathy & further lack of value for individual lives
