Are you open to a verse novel query? It's MG, and the word count (because it's verse) is lower than what Query Manager will accept so my direct query attempt won't go through. :) Space Whale Songs (and other tasty snacks) is a queer sci fi novel-in-verse for readers aged 8-12.

With adult hindsight, it has occurred to me that people flirted with me in my teens and twenties and I didn't notice/didn't realise.

I was not aware, sorry I fumbled it.

It wasn't you, it was me. 😅😂
