Happy 11th Birthday to RPD Ted, who served with the Ministry of Defence Police 🎂. Since Ted's retirement, we have supported him with grants totalling over £3,500 for a variety of veterinary treatments. We are proud to have been there for you in your time of need, Ted. 💙🐶🇬🇧

Happy 14th Birthday to RPD Tai who served with Bedfordshire Police! 🎂 Recently, the demands of Tai’s role as a police dog have taken a toll on his back legs, and he’s been struggling with osteoarthritis. To support him, we’re funding his monthly Librela injections to help ease his pain. 💙🐶🇬🇧

PD Donnie from Greater Manchester Police has recently graduated to become a fully licensed police dog. Last night, he was deployed to track suspects wanted for burglary. He tracked across various terrains and successfully located three suspects. Great work, PD Donnie. 👏💙🇬🇧🐶

We’re very proud to have presented RPD Bear from Sussex Police with the Thin Blue Paw Lifesaver Award for his heroic work alerting his handlers to a vulnerable missing person, stuck deep in undergrowth. Bear had recently recovered from surgery and was out on the walk celebrating his 12th birthday. 💙

This Christmas, we'd like to pay tribute to the thousands of police officers, dog handlers, and police dogs across the United Kingdom who sacrifice their special day so we can all be safe. We'd like to wish RPD Audi from Staffordshire Police a very happy retirement. In 2019, Audi was stabbed in the line of duty protecting officers from a dangerous offender. Audi made a full recovery & returned to duty. Thank you for your bravery and service, Audi. Enjoy your well deserved retirement.

We had the privilege of spending the morning with the Luton Airport Police Dog Unit ✈️. We had the opportunity to see them in action around the airport, showcasing their detection skills and how they keep everyone safe. Santa Paws also paid a visit, delivering a variety of goodies to the dogs. 🎅🏻🐶🇬🇧💙

Back in 2022, RPD Jooba from South Yorkshire Police suffered a torn ACL in her left hind leg and had surgery, fully funded by our foundation. Recently, she tore the ACL in her right leg. We’ve covered the cost of her second surgery, and Jooba is now recovering at home. Get well soon, Jooba 💙🐶🇬🇧

Happy 10th Birthday to RPD Max, who served Kent Police for 7 years! 🎂 In 2022, after serious health concerns, urgent scans revealed inflammation, but no cancer. Thanks to the foundation's support, RPD Max received treatment and now enjoys a happy retirement in Surrey with his teddy bear. 💙🐶🇬🇧

Happy 12th Birthday to RPD Iggy, who served with Police Scotland. 🎂 Iggy retired in 2019 after six years of dedicated service, with many crime-fighting achievements, including foiling a break-in at a high school in Fife. Thank you for your service Iggy, we hope you’ve had a pawsome day! 💙🐶🇬🇧

PD Rocky from Northamptonshire Police has had a busy few shifts, including chasing and detaining a wanted male after a lengthy pursuit, followed by locating the key to a cloned car at another incident. Great work, PD Rocky! Thank you for keeping the streets of Northampton safe. 👏💙🐶🇬🇧

RPD Bear, celebrating his 12th birthday, was out for a walk when he found a confused, wet, and cold man in dense undergrowth. Unknowingly, he alerted his owners to a vulnerable missing person officers had been searching for. Even in retirement, Bear is a true hero. Happy Birthday, RPD Bear! 🎂🐶 🫶🎂💙🐶🇬🇧

We're deeply saddened to announce the passing of RPD Rico, who served with the Ministry of Defence Police. Rico retired at the age of 5 due to an injury that required a plate to be inserted into his front leg. He embraced retirement fully and passed away at 11 years old. RIP Rico! 🌈🐶🇬🇧💙

RPD Zeus retired from Cheshire and North Wales Police Dog Unit in September after a successful 8-year career. Zeus is now enjoying retirement with his new family, and he continues to be supported by our foundation during his retirement. 🐶💙🇬🇧

PD Worgy from Surrey & Sussex Police Dog Unit assisted in the search for a male who was suspected of drinking driving, having assaulted an off duty police officer, and made off from local officers. Worgy tracked and located the suspect hiding in deep bushes. Great job PD Worgy! 👏💙🇬🇧🐶

Happy Retirement to PD Fama after six years of loyal service with Northamptonshire Police Dog Unit. Fama, affectionately known as 'Property Queen,' earned her nickname through her incredible ability to sniff out tens of thousands of pounds worth of stolen goods. Thank you for your service! 💙🐶🇬🇧

We had the privilege of attending the unveiling of the Humberside Police Dog Memorial, which honours the life, service, and sacrifice of police dogs across the Humberside region. PC Matthews led the creation of this memorial and kindly invited our foundation to unveil a commemorative plaque. 💙🐶🇬🇧
