thanks for trusting me with your ideas! i think adding a physical threat sounds like a great idea. maybe the reality bender messes with some creatures that already exist and makes them violent/troublesome in some way?

does the reader know about the reality manipulator as this point in the story, or is like weird things keep happening but the reader doesn't know why yet?

Everything so far is rather storybookish. I get the vibe of Princess Bride where everything being over-the-top is the point of the story. If that's the purpose then I think that's excellent.

how are The Hunger Games? I didn't get into them when they came out, but I'm considering picking them up this year

do you like queer books? I looooved Less by Andrew Sean Greer. it's about a man who gets invited to his ex's wedding and instead of just not going he books a trip around the world so he's definitely busy. it's a fun story with a happy ending
