Nioh 2 DLC - The Tengu's Disciple, Darkness in the Capital, and The First Samurai
Really solid and fun set of expansions. Great boss fights, too. The Ren Hayabusa super boss in DLC 2 is a standout favorite.
Why was the last mission in DLC 3 just the last quarter of Ninja Gaiden Black again?
Wonder Man (2026)
My favorite MCU show after Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Really hits close to home in a couple ways I wasn't expecting, Simon feels remarkably relatable.
Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Ben Kingsley's chemistry is unmatched, I could listen to these two go back and forth for hours.
Ninja Gaiden 4 (2025)
The sequel to Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time everyone's been waiting for.
Platinum's still got it in 'em to make a fun action game, although it's unfortunately it's held back by some jank and annoyingly stifled mechanical progression. I like it about as much as NG3RE.
Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge (2012)
While some of OG NG3's baffling design still lingers (QTEs, slow walk sections, etc.), Razor's Edge manages to add and retool much more to make it a way better action game.
Story's lame but I'm not gonna pretend NG1 and 2's were exactly high caliber, either.
Cure (1997) [rewatch]
You have no idea how excited I got when my older brother put this movie on his Christmas wishlist, I just had to get it for him. So glad he knows ball.
We got done rewatching it just now and the last 20 minutes are gonna be on my mind for a while again. Absolutely haunting.

My VRAM kept spiking worse than when I played Lost Soul Aside so my PC might be in danger, but it was worth it. I now understand what it's like to be Brazilian. I think.
Pragmata - Sketchbook Demo
Although quite short, it feels great to finally get to try this game out. Been curious about it since day one.
The whole hacking minigame while shooting feels a lot more intuitive than I thought. Sound design is immaculate, too. Need this game's soundtrack ASAP.
Ninja Gaiden II (2008)
Yeah this is straight up my new favorite action game. This is the apex. Holy shit.
I loved NG Black as well but this game amps things up to eleven in a way that really speaks to me and what I love in action games, so I think I like it more. The Eclipse Scythe is my wife.
