I grew up w/ Sailor Moon, Sugar Sugar Rune, Revolutionary Girl Utena - pretty much as many magical girl anime out there! I loved them all but wished sometimes that there were more characters that looked like me. I'm happy that media is starting to make space now, for gems like this to thrive.
