Hi friends! I know I haven't posted in the last 5 days or so, when I'd normally try and hop on and make some kind of post every day, but it felt a little forced sometimes.

I've never been one for social media really, so I'll probably be lurking a lot more than I already have.

It was taken on by a different developer and publishers, and rereleased this last Thursday!

It's pretty good! I'm having a great time still.

Been a while since a game sucked me in as much as Blue Protocol. The aesthetics, animations, and combat all look and feel so great! And better yet, the monetization is super fair - the only expensive stuff being whatever outfit is in the gacha. No P2W!

Been enjoying Blue Protocol a LOT!

I somehow ended up leading a guild with max members on day 1. This was entirely unexpected, but it's fun. I haven't done that in awhile.

And my character is adorable, too!

Oh yeah, those were pretty short-lived too.

Remember plasma TVs? I just did.

I can't think of a display technology that went obsolete faster than that, to be honest.

My guess is somewhere in between the stretch of ocean between Istan and the Ring of Fire, but it really is tough to guess.

Can't wait to get all these parts in for a tiny PC I'm building for my living room.

I'm even gonna try and 3D print my own case to get it as small as possible. 👀

Ys games really put you into a kind of flow state that I've never had another game be able to recreate. I love them all so much!

I didn't think I'd like I & II either but I was pleasantly surprised.

This is still gonna have to be Resident Evil VII for me, unfortunately.

I had gotten to the final section of the game, but I needed to take a break. I got too spooked. And then I never went back to finish it...

I've since learned that's a heavily disliked part of the game, anyway.

I love Reverie! The amount of playable party members gets totally absurd, haha

I still like it a lot, and will be going for the platinum of course. But if the game is going to push you to grind, it should probably be against enemies.

Anyway, complaining about a game as old as me over. I can see why it's a beloved classic for sure. Just a bit silly.

Okay, I like FF Tactics, but here's the thing (bracing myself):

The progression is totally broken, and random difficulty spikes end up encouraging you to exploit it heavily. Hitting your own teammates is the most optimal way to grind, and that's poor design imo.

Great game otherwise.
