Printing up glowing gold fuchsias! Notice me burning the edges of the plate at the start? This is to remove any stray fibres from the hessian backing of the block, which tend to unravel and poke out whenever the block is washed.

One of the most frequently asked questions I get is about the paper this is printed on. It's Nepalese Lokta paper. It's perfect for printmaking, very strong but still thin and light enough to allow for hand burnishing prints.

I've never tried that so can't comment. It's pretty good, dries decently fast!

The speedball fabric ink is the best for wearable / usable items. I use traditional oil based for any fabric that will be framed ✨️😊

They're both ✨️magical✨️ but I am digging the blue 💙

It works great for tiny stamps that are mostly lines, but anything bigger needs to be hand burnished or run through some kind of press 😊 I've seen folk have decent success with Speedball Speedy Cut for these kind of projects ✨️
