My wife gave me a platinum trophy replica at our wedding ceremony in January, which was a very cute and cool thing to do.

That they were working on a “live service god of war title” could be instructive. Did they pitch this or was it foist upon them? Did anyone actually want a GoW live service game…?

I had some major qualms with both of these remakes, & it does relieve me that they won’t be doing a Bloodborne remake, but this is shocking. Bluepoint seemed like a well-oiled machine, and their games reviewed well

Had to get the platinum trophy in one of my all-time favorite games. Trophies and RPGs are a match made in heaven (unless you require multiple playthroughs of a 40+ hour game, a transgression that sends you straight to hell)

Which worked out great bc I had no idea they had additional dialog until the first time agrias started yapping and I was like HMMMMmmmmm?

Ah, yeah historically I avoided using story chars bc they are too strong, but on Tactician I kinda needed them, so I decided to do a “story team” & “side quest team”of generics that I renamed. It has really helped me to not-over level, tho here at the end of the game I am starting to dominate anyway

It can kill the battle pacing for sure, but seeing Agrias and Mustadio argue with Delita, and then Cid argue with Elmdore and Dycedarg was worth the price of entry alone imo

The biggest value added imo are the voice acting and additional dialog. Having Agrias, Cid, and Mustadio further developed by making comments or quips in battle go so far to further develop characters that are largely static after recruitment

For my money, this is the only way to play this game now
