Not my first answer and maybe a bit of a stretch, but I will always shout out The Leftovers, which started as a not-quite 1:1 adaptation of the novel for Season 1, then went into new — and incredible — original territory for Seasons 2 and 3.

Look, I've been all for the Old Gods taking over capital cities for a while now, and while that's probably not the most popular opinion, hear me out: What if we got new, Silvermoon-level rebuilds of other capital cities as a result? >.>

lmao, Return to Silent Hill is an even *worse* adaptation than the first film. It took so many left turns where the game(s) went right that it started to feel like a deliberate choice — but nope. Christophe Gans really thought he was doing justice with this adaptation.

You haven't played Silent Hill 2, have you? Because Return to Silent Hill is everything you're describing here as a bad adaptation lol.

Another WoW expansion, another reminder that the quest log cannot hold enough quests at once to keep up with the pacing of the zones.

I know it's a relatively small issue — and having an "MSQ" equivalent lessens it even more — but it still annoys the ever-living heck out of me.

Pokémon GO’s MasterCraft Research series feel like the worst, grindiest parts of WoW legendary quests without any of the good parts to balance. I get that the point is a long grind for an otherwise-unattainable shiny but there’s no fun along the way and not enough breadcrumbs for proper pacing.

Just watching Turalyon do anything is proof enough that the Void isn't the bad side, imo.

I know it's increasingly not for everyone, but I've been doing the leveling spree thing since Wrath and it's genuinely one of my favorite parts of a new expansion 💜

A set of cardboard boxes rigged into a small cat feeding station. “Meow” is written on a paper towel taped to the top, and a real, rubbery food bowl is sitting inside.

It leaves a bit to be desired, but the blue-ish part is a rubbery food bowl that we’ve stuffed through a normal feeding station. It’s been one of the easier ways to keep Nibbler from hurting himself too much or from tossing the bowl.

In this case, Fireball’s collar got caught on the grey part lol.

When I first saw the food bowl, I’ll be honest, I assumed it was the work of the cat with brain damage. Shame on me for not considering the orange boi.

By no means downplaying the depression part of this, but that actually sounds like a really fun outlet as far as impulsive and reckless choices go.

Not my favorite week — but D&D and Gloomhaven at the end of it help.

For me, "gl hf dd" was the go-to chat message at the start of StarCraft matches with the boyz (we were 11) XD

Ended up at 46.03. This one is my crowning achievement.

The trick for me was to not overthink it. The longer I played with colors, the more I forgot and second-guessed.

Really enjoyed ‘Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die’ — it's not presented as a video game movie* but it's absolutely a video game movie. IMO it also used the 2hr 15min runtime really well.

*Outside of the title, which doesn't read "video game" to the average moviegoer.
