I was so excited to see the NIH Notice of Grants and Contracts appear in my Inbox today for the first time in months. Then I scrolled to the bottom to see "Funding Opportunities: None". 😞

In a PubMed search for classic papers implicating the dorsal hippocampus in age-related memory decline (terms: dorsal hippocampus aging memory), I ordered the 222 results to start with the oldest. A 1996 paper from my dissertation was the 11th oldest.😳 Am I classic or just old? Don't answer that...
