My next stop was visiting Spain for the first time! 🇪🇸💃
I went with my mum and her friends to celebrate the memory of my aunt who passed away earlier in the year. Benidorm is… well, it’s certainly not pretentious! Although we’re ideological opposites, it’s important to me to make this time ❤️😅

In September I was on a plane for a last minute work trip to Vancouver for VIFF! 🇨🇦🍁
If I’m being honest I was so burned out at this point I almost passed on the trip, but I’m so glad I chose not to! What a phenomenal city, I really enjoyed my solo travels here around the event and meetings

Immediately after returning from Toko I was on a flight to Frankfurt and train to Cologne for Gamescom - first time in Germany and it is AWESOME! 🇩🇪🥨

I really hope I can go back next year! Sadly I didn’t get to meet Yoshida-San despite his press room being next door to ours 😭😭😭 ONE DAY!!

Highlight of August is ALWAYS Tokonatsu 🏕️☀️

Also in July I went to Windsor for a PlayStation conference in the fanciest hotel I’ve ever been allowed to step foot in, there was like a butler at every turn here I have no photos that capture how insanely posh it was 👾🥂

July I somehow made it all the way to Brighton on a train for Develop Conference! Another first for me 🏖️

In May we rented a canal boat in Wales to celebrate Joe’s birthday 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🎂

In April I took my mum to Paris and Disneyland 🇫🇷🎢
It was the first time I’ve been able to pay for a holiday for her after years of promising I’d take her to Disneyland one day 🙏

In March I did the San Francisco and Los Angeles double feature for another GDC and visiting my LA office for the first time 👾🇺🇸

Since I can’t really do this on instagram, I want to do a retrospective of all the places I’ve been lucky enough to travel to this year 🥹

Starting with Kirkcaldy in Scotland with Emi & Ciarán 🙏 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿accidentally stumbling into a difficult hike immediately after an enormous meal was a rookie error

Before the house started falling down I was making Marcille - I’ll pick her up again in the new year and finish for Minami

Been sitting on this account for a long time trying to decide whether to use it for cosplay or gpose but I think the best choice is to go old school and use it for everything
