Like, unfortunately with how Deus Ex is written, Sarif doesn't do *too* much evil, they specifically exist just to try to build custom augments for people who need them, so putting them against two fairly shitty companies is almost no contest

Trying to think of the downsides of each:

I would also avoid survival because it's ok at best (it's a strategy game that doesn't play very well into Digimon's standard vibe, imo), and if you'd like JRPGs where party evolution is entirely dependent on how you train, the Digimon World series can be pretty good as well

minor update to this: I've basically beaten the game (doing the fuckton of side quests at the end) and yep, still fun.

I'm also seeing a ton of people getting in to Digimon now, which I'm happy about, I highly recommend Cyber Sleuth if you want something like Time Stranger, but cheaper

some of the voices of NPCs are AI (they were back in the test as well but got a pass because "oh they'll replace it in the full game" but they didn't) and some of the stuff like posters and background material is AI gen

so before the CPU speed was getting, for me, uncomfortably high

now it's barely hitting 65 Celsius, this fucking cube may be *too* good

ordered a new CPU fan/cooler because my PC has shut itself off twice in the past month, and I can't find the problem (tho the temp was getting a little high for my liking)

it just came in, this thing is a fucking 6x6x6 inch cube, I'm scared it'll snap my motherboard in half like a glow stick

Nearly reported someone for having a username that was *dangerously* close to the N-word, had to do a little digging to find them.

Turns out their name was something like "Sonic Hedgehog" but entirely in non-standard characters

I was already leaning towards getting it (Ghost of Tsushima was really good, and everything I saw before release sounded awesome) but THIS information being delivered to me may tip the scales towards "you idiot why don't you have this yet"
