Today, I stopped by the Bayridge Block Party to show my support as they raised funds for the SickKids Foundation. I was truly inspired by their incredible effort — raising over $50,000 for a cause that touches so many lives. Keep up the amazing work!

We emphasized the need for collective action to tackle non-market practices and ensure a fair, resilient global economy that works for everyone.

Today in Paris, I hosted my fellow G7 Trade Ministers for meaningful discussions on strengthening global trade.

We talked about how the G7 can drive economic growth, create good jobs, and build long-term prosperity through a stable, transparent, and rules-based trading system.

Canada is a trading nation — and we must strengthen and expand the infrastructure that connects us to global markets. Our new $5 billion Trade Diversification Corridors Fund will help do exactly that.
