What is you favorite fantasy trope and why?

For me, it is the reluctant hero. There’s something really cool about someone ordinary being thrown into a big adventurer. They don’t think they’re ready or capable, but they keep going, and prove themselves. It reminds me a lot of real life.

Ask them why. That might be the gaming experience they want and that's okay for them.

They might also need help; roleplaying can feel daunting. I often jump on the embarrassment knife and introduce an over the top NPC to break the ice.
